Investigation of the succession process in forming integral knowledge of living nature in pupils of 5th - 7th forms. For the first time in the pedagogical science the essence of concept "succession in forming integral knowledge about living nature in pupils of 5th - 7th forms" is revealed. Pedagogical conditions of realization succession in forming integral knowledge about living nature are theoretically grounded and confirmed experimentally, methods of forming integral knowledge about living nature in pupils of 5th - 7th forms are developed and approved, and didactic model of ensuring succession in this process is shown. As a result of the research levels of formation of integral knowledge of pupils about living nature and criteria of their estimation were worked out. The effectiveness of the presented model of succession in forming integral knowledge about living nature has been experimentally proved.
