Essay

Dissertation highlights problems of surgical treatment of non atherosclerotic lesions of internal carotid arteries. The results of developed screening of 377 patients with is non atherosclerotic lesions of internal carotid arteries have been analyzed. Special algorithm of investigation was developed. Retrojugular approach revealed significant benefits comparing to classic approach for carotid artery dissection. Short term results of surgical treatment of non atherosclerotic lesions of internal carotid arteries were satisfactory and good in 94.4% cases.
