Lyubarskyy S. System organization and formation of contemporary Ukrainian terminology of agriculture

The thesis is dedicated to the study of system organization and formation of terms of agriculture in Ukrainian language. The investigation has been carried out on the basis of texts and dictionaries on Ukrainian agricultural terminology. The conceptual field of agricultural terminology and means of its representation are determined in the study. The peculiarities of nomination of agricultural scientific notions are explained. The tendencies of using term-forming means and methods are elucidated. The state of Ukrainian agricultural terminology from a viewpoint of lexical paradigmatics (synonymy, antonymy etc.) at the present stage of the development of the term system is studied.
