Vovk V. Clinical psychopathological and pathopsychological frustrations of HIV-infected individuals and their psychocorrection

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of frustrations and mental disorders of HIV-infected individuals. The present research consists of the complex analysis and studying of the clinical psychopathological structure and pathopsychological features HIV-infected individuals' mental disorders. During the research 104 patients were examined. All of them had the cleared-up HIV-infection diagnosis with the heterosexual way of infection. All the patients did not take up drugs and did not take antiviral therapy during the research. The age of patients was from 19 till 35 years. Features of their memory and attention, emotional and vegetative infringements, self-estimations, color elections, emotional components of attitudes, structure of HIV-infected individual personality suffering of mental frustration were studied. The above-cited data allows to develop complex system of psychotherapeutic correction of the studied mental frustrations of HIV-infected individuals.
