Essay

In the dissertation the problem of forming of abilities of independent cognitive activity of the students of pedagogical departments by means of information technologies is researched; its pedagogical meaningfulness, functional value, accordance with the social necessities of informative society is exposed. On the basis of critical analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical literature the concept of "ability of independent cognitive activity of students" is specified, the model of their formation is projected for the students of pedagogical departments by means of information technologies. Content and structure of programmatic pedagogical system of the instrumental shell "Moodle" is improved. The proper methodology is developed and its efficiency is experimentally tested.
