Ukhovs'kyy V. Leptospirosis of pigs in Ukraine (etiological structure, diagnostics and specific prophylaxis)

The dissertation is devoted studying of epizootic situation and etiological structures of pigs leptospirosis in territory of Ukraine and to improvement of system of diagnostics and the disease prevention. It is established epizootic situation and etiological structure of patogenes of pigs leptospirosis.For the first time the map of etiological structures of pigs leptospirosis for all regions and the map of density of cases of sick rate of pigs by leptospirosis on the territory of Ukraine were made up. In the dissertation there was grounded a necessity of development of the native vaccine against pigs leptospirosis and the vaccine against the disease (variant suis) was elaborated.There were determined the optimum immunity dose of the vaccine and level of antibodies against serogroups of leptospires into blood serum of vaccinated animals. It has been carried out the researches as to an immunogenesity of the created vaccine in the laboratory and industrial conditions. The normative documentation for the vaccine was worked out and its tests were carried out.
