Chalaya T. Pathogenetic basement of new approach to treatment and prophylaxis of chronic periodontitis' relapses

The thesis is devoted to the clearance of actual task of modern medical science - to work up the pathogenetically based treatment and prophylaxis of chronic periodontitis relapses with usage of composition for root canals temporary sealing consisting of oily vitamin E solution, metronidazole, barium sulfate and ultradispersive hydroxyapatite legated with silver. The etiological role of 21 strict anaerobic bacterial species is proved in development of chronic periodontitis, their antilysozyme, anticomplementary and antiimmunoglobulin activity is studied. The immune and metabolic status of patients with chronic periodontitis is studied in details. The three-stage method of treatment of patients with chronic periodontitis is proposed that includes usage of composition for temporary sealing with sig-nificant antibacterial effect, immunocorrecting and antioxidant action, and in 2-5 times decreases the frequency of relapses during 24 months.
