The objects are the lexical slavonicisms in the Ukrainian literary language of the 19-th century. The aim is describe the semantic and stylistic aspects of lexical slavonicisms in the Ukrainian literary language of the 19-th century. The methods are descriptive, comparative, quantification, stylistic analysis. Having investigated the functioning of slavonicisms in the Ukrainian literary language of the 19-th century we can determine them as compound component of the Ukrainian language and important stylistic device realized by means of gradual changing of functional status of slavonicisms in the Ukrainian language in the period of its formation, single, dot inclusion of slavonicisms into the text of art work predominates over concentrated and phrasal. Stylistic marking of slavonicisms has been leveled in many cases, and their gradual transmission in the category of usual nominative means became obvious. Application sphere is the training courses.
