The object is acute thrombophlebitis of the lower extremities (ATLE); the aims to improve effectiveness of treatment the patients with ATLE; the methods are clinical, laboratory and instrumental; the new approach liens in scientifically explanation to intraoperative diagnose the ostial reflux in the v. superficialis magna make use of phlebothonometria; the main include have made the diagnostical-treatment algoritm in case of the ATLE and the appliance for the intraoperative measuring of the venous pressure; all this thesis has been developed by clinical practice; the field is surgery.
