The thesis a complex research editorial and publishing activity of Ivan Franko, one of the Ukrainian culture 19 and 20 c., who dedicated his entire life to the cultural, social and politikal advance of Galicia. Publishing and Editing Aktivity of Ivan Franko became a major component of the national-political movement and one of the key factors in the process of spreading its popularity. Franko joined the democratic programme of the cultural and economic development of the Ukrainian people striving for political freedom quite vehemently. His whole activity is a vivid manifestation of the humanistic and democratic essence of the Ukrainian cause. Little-known texts by Ivan Franko, which were not included in his academic collected works in 50 volumes.
