Zhenchenko M. Publication of legal literature in Ukraine: historical, typological-thematic and editing-publishing aspects

The thesis is devoted to a complex research of the process of publishing legal literature in Ukraine. The history of publishing activity in the field of law and jurisprudence has been analysed in the thesis, also the peculiarities of forming a modern network of publishing organizations, editorial offices of legal subject-matter serial publications have been examined as well as their publishing repertoire has been researched. Theoretical principles of typological modelling have been analysed, main typological features have been determined, typologization has been made and legal editions published within the period 1991-2006 have been characterised according to each of the features obtained as a result of typological scheme typologization. The thematic repertoire, methods of forming legal literature author's environment, theoretical principles of editorial working of texts of statutory-legal acts in force, peculiarities of advertising and distribution of legal subject-matter literature have been studied.
