Essay

The dissertation deals with the problems of public ownership under transformational economy. Evolution of different points of views on the concept of "ownership", its place, role and developing trends in transformational economy have been studied. Theoretical and methodological grounds for the role of public ownership and public sector in market economy are presented. Structural elements and factors promoting the eggiciency of market operation are determined. Directions and regularities in the development of public ownership under market transformations are outlined.
