The dissertation is devoted to the political analysis of the peculiarities of media reforms in the Republic of Poland and Ukraine. The political comparative analysis according to the political-legal and political-economic aspects of the media reforms in Ukraine and Poland is performed. The scientific-practical recommendations aimed at improvement of state policy regarding freedom of the media and media regulation are proposed.
