Koliyadych Y. The peculiarities of Roman Ivanychuk's poetics in the short story genre.

The dissertation sets out to research the poetic style of Roman Ivanychuk' short stories. The thesis investigates the interrelaticn between rhythm, time, space, conflicts and collision, means of characterization, forms of expositions and peculiarities of artist's comprehension of the world, his own philosophical views, ethic and aesthetic regularities. Taking into consideration stated above, the special accent was made on finding out the place Roman Ivanychuck's short stories possess in Ukrainian literary process of 50-80 years, of the XX-th century. Besices, the dissertation highlights Roman Ivanychuck's poetic style of the so-called "shistdesyatnyky" and analyses the correlation of traditionalistic and traditional in his belles-lettres, publicistic and critical texts.
