Hulevych L. Mykola Ustyyanovych and his creative work in the context of Ukrainian romanticism literature.

The thesis is devoted to the literary activity of Mykola Ustyyanovych (1811-1885), writer, social figure, the follower of M. Shashkevych traditions and "Russion Trinite". In the given thesis there have been investigated the outlook and aesthetic positions of M. Ustyyanovych, there has bee made the complex analysis of his poetic and prose works, there have been defined the high-principled aesthetic paradigms of the artist's fiction legacy as well as thematic direction of his literary works, there have been considered the author's fiction language specifics. For the first time in the Ukrainian literary studies social activities and literary legacy of Mykola Ustyyanovych have been viewed upon through the prism of his national and religious world outlook in the context of the Ukrainian literature development.
