Kirshova O. Methodology of training master's degree students to create professionally-oriented projects on the basis of texts in German

The dissertation focuses on the problem of professionally-oriented language training of would-be teachers of the German language in higher institutes of education. The research provides theoretical substantiation and practical elaboration of the methodology of training master's degree students to create professionally-oriented projects on the basis of texts in German.The theoretical prerequisites of teaching master's degree students to create these projects are defined.The organization principles of professionally-oriented project works are formulated.There is investigated the process of forming master’s degree students’ professional skills during their performance of project works in practical classes in German and project elaboration with students during teaching practice at university. As a result of the research, a system of tasks and exercises for professionally-oriented projects to train would-be teachers of the German language has been worked out. The effectiveness of the suggested methodologywas verified and confirmed during the experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations on how to organize training of master’s degree students to create professionally-oriented projects on basis of texts in Ger-man have been developed and applied in four higher educational establishments.
