Dissertation work is devoted research of optical and electric characteristics of gas-discharge plasma on the vapour of bromine and on mixtures of rare gases with the molecules of bromine and iodine; to establishment of basic processes of plasma; optimizations of mixtures are in UV-VUV of spectrum region for the receipt of effective gas-discharge sources of radiation. The spectrum of radiation of plasma is on mixtures of He-I2, Xе-I2 included the spectral line of atom of iodine 206.2 nm, bands 253 nm of XeI(B-X) and 342 nm of I2(D'-A'). On the basis of mixture of He-Хе-I2 a excimer-galohen lamp is developed with power of radiation to 40 W and efficiency of = 15%. The working mixture of rare gas He, Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe with vapour of iodine in the UV-VUV spectral region are optimized. On the basis of plasma of vapour of a bromine (Br2, He-Br2) change of partial pressure of vapour of Br2 found out possible adjusting breadthways of band of radiation in the range of 165-300 nm. The characteristics of plasmaon mixtures of Xe-Br2 and Kr-Br2 is established. On base of mixture Хе(Kr)-Br2-I2 effective bactericide lamp is elaborated. A small widely-band lamp on mixture of Kr-Xe- Br2-I2 in the spectral region of 200-390 nm is created.
