Essay

Object - the technology of the roof strengthening at junctions between longwall faces and reused workings. Purpose - ground the technological parameters of the roof strengthening at junctions between longwall faces and reused workings, taking into account the rock mass properties that will provide the increasing of the longwall faces safety and productivity. Methods of researches: analysis and generalization of literary and patent sources, mine exploration of the roof surface deformations at the ends of the longwall faces, the roof crack hollowness seys-moacostical method, designing of stress-deformed state the rock mass by the eventual elements meth-ods, mathematical and statistical data processing, laboratory researches on defining the rock samples fixing agent durability and the method of determi-nation of economic effect of new strengthening scheme application. Results: correlation dependences of the roof defor-mations at junctions between longwall faces and repeatedly used workings have been defined. Em-piric dependence for refinery the distance between anchors has been obtained. The method of the roof anchoring to prevent caving has been developed. The efforts in the roof bolting are set to depend on thickness of the unsteady rocks layer and their modulus of elasticity. Three schemes of anchoring have been developed. The new scheme of anchor-ing has been tested while strengtheniry the roof at junction between the slope the longwall face of the "Knyaginskaya" mine of the SE "Donbassantrat-sit". The methods of application of the technology of the combined roof strengthening at breakage faces have been developed. The possible economic effect of the new scheme of the roof strengthening at junction between longswall faces and repeatedly used workings makes up 886000 UAH. Sphere (area) use - at mines, higher educational, scientific-research and project institutions of coal industry of Ukraine.
