Object of research: the interaction of the authority bodies and public organization at the conditions of the Ukrainian state development. The purpose: theoretical grounding of the direction of interaction between authority bodies and public organization in the sphere of social security, working out the recommendations for improving the methods and forms of public participation in the process of developing the public policy. Methods: of logical and etymological, analysis and synthesis, categorical, systemical and comparative analysis, modelling, generalization. Results: conceptual bases of the relations and interaction of authority bodies and public organizations in the process of developing the public policy on the social security were worked out and grounded. Novelty: participatory model of the interaction of authority bodies and public organizations in the process of developing the public policy on the social security was grounded. The results have been implemented in the activity of authority bodiesof Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts. Sphere of usage: public administration, scientific researches, training and retraining of public servants.
