Essay

The thesis is devoted to the clearance of the influence in vitro of teichoic acids, peptidoglycans and lipopolysaccharides of bacteria - etiological agents of chronic functional colostases in children on functional, metabolic activity and apoptosis of monocytes and neutrophils. It is established that teichoic acids, peptidoglycans and lipopolysaccharides in concentrations of 100 and 200 mg/l suppress the phagocytosis of monocytes and neutrophils, stimulate secretion of interleukins, tumor necrosis factor, prostaglandin E2, activate lipid peroxidation and cause the failure of antioxidant defense system, and also increase expression of receptors to apoptic markers. It is established that lipopolysaccharides have maximal potential concerning monocytes and neutrophils, and teichoic acids - the minimal one. The increase of teichoic acids, peptidoglycans and lipopolysaccharides concentration leads to increase of their influence on functional, metabolic activity and apoptosis of monocytes and neutrophils.
