The dependences for defying the discharge through the sluice-regulators and for defining vertical contraction coefficient when outflowing jet is free and unfree from under the vertical-lift gate are refining. Probabilistic characteristics for prediction of smoothly changing nonstationary flow parameters are elaborated.
