Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the homeostasis state and vegetative nervous system and to the development of diagnostics methods of the vegetative nervous system state of patients with the benign prostata gland hyperplasia (BPGH), depending on the urinary retention variant. The dissertation concerns the study of the efficiency of patients' complex treatment in the pre- and post-operative period, with application of low-energetic laser irradiation of the bed of the excised hyperplastic prostata gland. The author has analysed the results of the examination and treatment of 163 patients with the BPGH, 89 of them were included into the two basic groups, and 74 patients made the two groups for comparison. The results of our researches allow to assert that sympathicotonia predominates among patients with the BPGH, complicated with the acute retention of urine, and vagotonia predominates among the patients with the chronic retention of urine. The study of the vegetative nervous system state in the post-operative period with the use of the suggested conceptual model allows to consider question, related to the terms and the medical treatment volume, more reasonably. The offered technic of complex treatment in the post-operative period with the use of low-energetic laser irradiation allows to improve the treatment efficiency and to decrease the amount of complications. The simplicity of this treatment type gives a right to recommend this type of treatment for the wide practical use.
