Kalenychenko P. Protection of copyright and related rights in musical show-business of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the problems of copyright and related rights' civil law protection in the sphere of musical show-business of Ukraine. Musical show-business as the sphere of copyright regulation, problems of legal status of the subjects of copyright and related rights as well as legal regime of exploitation of copyright and related rights' objects in the musical show-business of Ukraine are defined in the thesis. The issues of copyright and related rights' realization, problems of the proper rights circulation, collective management of proper copyright and related rights, the issues of legal defence of copyright and related rights are investigated in the thesis. As a result of legal analysis of the current native and foreign legislation, native and foreign court practice, legal literature scientific conclusions were made, proposals regarding improvement of current Ukrainian legislation regarding the protection of copyright and related rights were made in the thesis.
