Essay

The purpose of the dissertation is to investigate the political problems pertaining to relations between nongovernmental organizations and multinational corporations with sovereign states in terms of globalization of the world development. The dissertation encompasses the analysis of multipronged erosion state-oriented system of international relations resulting in weakening of traditional sovereign powers of the states by nongovernmental players which strengthen their position within globalization process. This is one of the first attempts to comprehensively analyze the problems of interaction of nongovernmental multinational actors and states within globalization and deepening of international cooperation. The dissertation demonstrates that the behavior of multinational corporations is not targeted at realization of the extreme strategy - to obtain profits, but is conditioned by the strategies pursued by competing business entities and political and economical risks, expenses global demand, and geopolitical situation. The comprehensive conceptual are approach to the phenomenon of relations between multinational actors' and a sovereign state allows its impartial interpretation and shows the growing importance of multinational corporations in the world policy.
