In dissertation is specified the concept of predicate valency in an aspect of its bivalent realization in semantic-syntactic structure of the sentence; is distinguished and defined lexico-semantic groups of bivalent verb predicates in modern literary Ukrainian language; is described semantics of bivalent verb predicates relative to their interior intention; is setting cases of noun components (object, аddressee, іnstrument, locative); is defined possibilities of changing bivalent verbs into absolutively or trivalent verbs; is described the main types of minimum sentence structures with bivalent verb predicates.
