The object is a role of political parties in political integration of transitive societies. The aim is to discover the role of dominating party as a factor of political integration in the transitive societies. The methods are institutional approach, dialectic, comparative, historical-genetical, historical-comparative, descriptive. The essence of concept "political integration", the theoretical and methodological bases of research of a role of political parties into maintenance of political integration and consolidation of the societies which are in process of transition to democracy is opened. Influence of party structurization on processes of political integration in transitive societies is analysed. Types of classical party systems with dominating party are allocated. Features of formation and functioning of dominating parties of nonclassical type in the conditions of a mode delegative democracies in Post-Soviet transitive societies are revealed. Their role in formation of national models of political integration is defined. Prospects of formation and development of dominating parties in Post-Soviet transitive societies are opened.
