The thesis aims at improvement of complex surgical treatment of 138 patients suffering from diabetes mellitus of the II type complicated by diabetic foot syndrome of the I-IV degrees according to Wagner's classification, by means of development and introduction of a new method of complex surgical treatment with the help of novel medical immune biological preparation "Cryocell-cryocord" taking into account the peculiarities of carbohydrate metabolic disorders, liver functioning and immune status of the body. For the first time, against the background of radical surgical sanitation of the foot destruction nidus and conventional therapy, 90 patients were introduced the preparation "Cryocell-cryocord". The doses and periods of introduction depended on severity of diabetic foot syndrome. In surface lesions of the foot elements (I-II degrees) 2.0 ml of the preparation were introduced intramuscularly during 5 days, and in the III-IV degrees of diabetic foot syndrome - 2.0 ml during 10 days. The control groupconsisted of 48 patients who received developed in the clinic conventional complex surgical treatment comprising various kinds of surgical sanitation of destruction nodi in conjunction with detoxication, sugar lowering, body strengthening and lowering blood viscosity therapy in the patients with prolonged intra-arterial local introduction of the complex of medicinal media.
