Essay

The methodological system for assessment of results of the study of Information Science of senior school pupils has been developed, grounded theoretically and tested experimentally. Necessity of carrying out of assessment of training activities on principles of person-oriented education and competency-based approach has been grounded. The concept assessment and aims of assessment of results of the study of Information Science of senior school pupils have been specified. Methodological recommendations on application by the pupils of assessment criteria directly in process of study have been developed; development and assessment of tests on the basis of B.Bloom’s taxonomy; carrying out by the pupils of self-assessment of their own training activity in Information Science, mutual assessment in small groups and assessment of work of a pupil’s group.
