Essay

With the use of histological, electronicmicroscopic, radioautographic analysis (3H-glycine) and morphometrical methods it was shown that in the both cases under conditions of modeled hypokinesia in the bone tissue and in osteocytes of rat femoral bones, and under microgravity in the iliac crest of monkey the destructive changes are take place: decreasing of number of osteocytes, increasing of area of osteocytic lacunas as well as number of empty lacunas, increasing of number of apoptosis in the osteocytes. In some osteocytes the biosynthesis of collagen proteins is activated. Results of investigations showed that osteocytes play a significant role in the loss of bone tissue under hypokinesia and microgravity, what accompanying with development osteoporotic changes in bone skeleton.
