Nedashkivsyj S. The choice of diagnostic criteria and optimization of the intensive care in case of acute tricyclic antidepressant overdosing.

Scientific work is devoted to studying of the diagnostic criteria, features of clinical current of the severe tricyclic antidepressant overdoses and combined tricyclic antidepressant overdoses. There were investigated three groups of patients with the dominance of cardiovascular and central nervous system toxicity in case of acute tricyclic antidepressant poisoning. There was investigated the relation of clinical symptoms from doses of tricyclic antidepresants and its time-exposure. Efficiency of therapeutics methods for acceleration of elimination of tricyclic antidapresants and its active metabolites had been analyzed. The most efficient regimen of sodium bicarbonate administration had been determined. Practical recommendations based on different approaches to prophylactic and treatment measurements had been developed and introduced in intensive care units.
