Essay

The thesis is devoted to the exploring of the role of alimentary lipid factor in the development of the most importаnt pathogenic mechanisms of atherosclerosis – disturbances of lipid, lipoprotein, and glucose metabolism, activity of systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, formation of atherogenic and immunogenic plasma potential. The examination had the clinico -experimental nature. There were defined the role and mechanisms of the proatherogenic action of alimentary lipids as a factor of metabolic disturbances development. It was shown that acute lipid loading is the independent factor of atherogenesis. The tolerans to lipid loading was shown to be sharply diminished both in patients with ischemic heart dis-ease and in rabbits in conditions of a chronic high-fat diet.
