Kukartsev O. Regional Policy of Ukraine: "Centre-Regions" Relations as the Ensuring Factor of Territorial Integrity of the State.

Thesis makes complex research of subnational "centre-regions" relations in context of ensuring of territorial integrity of the state. The factors influenced on regional structurization of contemporary states are investigated. The tie of regionalization's elements with centrifugal tendencies is discovered, and also ways of prevention of disintegrating processes in states are researched. The experience of power centralization and decentralization during the process of agreement of central and regional interests in the states are viewed. The problems and prospects of institutionalisation of "centre-regions" political relations in sovereign Ukraine are examined. It is defined the optimization means of "centre-regions" relations on the principles that would take into consideration as strategic interests of national security and requirements of region's development.
