Essay

The research deals with the clarification of the philosophical-anthropologic basis of the personalism in the horizon of the Christian thought. Based on the fundamental analysis of personalist conceptions of the 20th century, the author proposes the own definition of the philosophy of person in the context of social, political, cultural and ideological positions of its adherents. In the research of classical and post-classical personalism the author uses such fundamental notions as "person" and "community". The thesis argues that the most of personalists theoretical works, first of all, the modern are directed on the realization of the practical aims: the development of every person and working out of the all necessary for this one social institutions and relations.
