Dissertation work is devoted to the issue of the day - raising of ships efficiency by the improvement of the operative planning of their motion. Models for clarification of ship's speed prognostications, methods for correction of the planned route for collision avoidance and for providing of the effective following over ocean are offered in it. The improvement of ships' motion planning is achieved by clarification on the observations in the voyages of models for speed prognostications. The chosen method for reflection of influence on ship' speed in the ocean of the expected weather allows without calculations to find a rational way to the point of setting. The brought simplification into a calculation of ocean's way transition diminishes the volume of calculations at the use of genetic algorithm. The developed procedure of route's change for collisions warning differs by more complete account of vessel' dynamics. She is based on the numeral prognosis of ships' manoeuvring on a nonlinear model. The offered method of reflection of situations of ships' rapprochement by the areas of dangerous shifting from the line of way facilitates the choice of strategies of collision avoidance of ships.
