This dissertation provides an analysis of social technology in the adaptation of current and former male inmates, a group considered especially socially vulnerable in Ukraine. The thesis presents a systematic review of the theories behind their social adaptation and the adaptation technologies; uncovers basic problems with respect to the social adaptation of former inmates upon their release from prison in Ukraine; and covers organizational-legal and social technology directions used in working with current and former inmates.
