Object of research: process of influencing of small business on the economy growing. Purpose of re-search: development of mechanism of influencing of small business on the economy growing and determina-tion of directions of activation of activity of small busi-ness as the source of growth of economy of Ukraine. Methods of research: principles of development, dis-agreement, co-operation, structurally-functional ap-proach, methods of analysis, synthesis, dynamic rows, tabular and graphic methods. Results: category essence of "small business" is grounded, his determination is specified; classification of small business is specified; scientific approaches are certain to opening of inter-communication of small business and economy grow-ing in economic science; conception of mechanism of influencing of small business is developed on the econ-omy growing; the features of the economy growing and small business are exposed in the conditions of inver-sion type of forming of market economy of Ukraine; influencesof small business are analyses on the econ-omy growing of Ukraine; the system of support of de-velopment of small business is improved through de-termination of directions of activation of his activity as the source of the economy growing of Ukraine.
