Storozhuk V. The spring barley productivity and its formation depending on the growing technology in the conditions of the Polissia

Subject of research - the process of spring barley grain productivity and quality formation. The aim of researh - to improve the spring barley growing technology components depending on biological features of the variety. The methods are field, laboratory, measuring-weight, computational-comparative, statistical-mathematical. Details of the spring barley variety plant development are established and its response to a level of plant moisture and nutrient supply depending on the growing technology is revealed. Parameters of the action of intensification facrors at which the normatively pure grain formation is secures in the conditions of radioactive contamination of the Polissia zone are determined. For the farms with different resourse provision the improved spring barley growing technologies that enable to get up to 5.0 t/ha grain are recommended. The research results are introdused during 2007-2008 at the farme of the Zhitomyr region over an area 178 ha. Field of application - the agricultural production.
