Essay

Object of investigation is the storage process of tomato fruits and its connection with constructive and technological parameters of developed containers and with their physical and mechanical properties. The aim of dissertation is to increase the efficiency of storage process of tomato fruits by confirming constructive and technological parameters of multilevel container. Main methods of theoretic investigation are those performed on the basis of modeling laws of tomato fruits deformation which are based on the theories of marginal balance and plasticity with application of criterion of plasticity of Cen-Venan. The main system of equations in particular derivatives is quasi linear and belongs to hyperbolic type and it is deduced through application of adequate modified characteristic methods with using computer engineering techniques, to be more exact, through final slashing methods. Scientific meaning: given research has contributed into further development of theo ry of plasticity and balance of entire media which permitted to determine the meaning of coefficient of deformation, which in turn, defines the influence of coefficient of plasticity and external load upon tomato fruits storage. Practical meaning: research resulted in development of multilevel container with plastic covers which realizes the mechanism of lateral support of fruits and provides their storage during transportation. The novelty of construction is confirmed by the author's certificate about invention № 1717496, journal № 9 from 7 March 1992. It is experimentally proved that developed containers, I comparison with standard containers, increase storage of tomato fruits by 2-2,25 times. Economy due to increase of storage process of tomato fruits is 181 hrn./t. For the first time, natural changes of the form of outside outline of model body of tomato fruits under the influence of external load are determined whereby theoretically defined dependences and developed algorithms. Mathematic model of full tension which acts on the internal horizontal crossing of model body of tomato fruits is obtained. Further application of dissertation results can be used in the branch of plant growing for designing and developing containers for transportation and storage of tomato fruits..
