Essay

The object is biotechnological aspects of associative interaction of bacteria with plants; the aim - theoretical justification of the use of bacterial preparations for modification of macro- and microelement consumption by the cultivated plants and experimental verification of the described bacterial consortium efficiency in the extreme conditions of mineral nutrition; methods - microbiological, biochemical, molecular-biological, physico-chemical; novelty - the first developed method of plant growing on mineral substrates under assistance of a rationally assembled bacterial consortium in closed systems without the use of organic and mineral additions. A change of redox potential in the bacteria innoculated plants in the extreme conditions of mineral nutrition on the different development phases has been revealed for the first time. Results - the bacterial consortium of multipurpose use is developed for growing of plants in the conditions of a low bioavailability of nutrient elements and a high content of heavy metals. The consortium decreased metal bioavailability in substrate at their content of 1-10 maximum permissible concentration (MPC) and increased its at 100 MPC of cadmium, and also influenced the heavy metal ratio and re-distribution in the organs of French marigold (Tagetes patula L.) and soybean (Glicine max L.). The field is Agriculture.
