Thesis is devoted to research of peculiarities of compensation of damage, caused by crime, by State. Principles of the Ukrainian civil legislation, which regulates the institute of compensation of damage by State to a person, suffered from a crime has been revealed; legal character of relations, appearing as a result of infliction of damage by crime and compensation of damage by State has been researched and peculiar features of obligation of State, arising in consequence of infliction of damage by crime has been emphasized; subject composition of obligations of State, arising as a result of infliction of damage by crime has been analyzed; grounds and conditions of damage compensation by State to a person, suffered from crime has been researched: peculiarities of an actual mechanism of damage compensation by State to a person, suffered from crime has been analyzed. Theoretical conclusions in researched questions and practical suggestions, aimed at improvement of the institute of damage compensation byState to a person, suffered from crime have been formulated."
