Essay

This research is the first attempt in Ukrainian linguistics to analyze the lexical-semantic group family as a means of the corresponding concept. The paper focuses on the place and status of the concept family in the Ukrainian language world image. The investigation deals with the determination of the lexical-semantic group complete set, its role in the language modeling of world image of the Ukrainians. The research includes the snslysis of the concept family verbalization in the Ukrainian language and fiction of some Ukrainian writers of the 19th century.
