The thesis is devoted to the study of conditions and efficiency of propagation of major commercial fish species of the Kremenchuk reservoir.There were studied current state of spawning grounds in the Kremenchuk reservoir with the use of biological diversity index (Shannon) and a faunistic analysis by E.S. Smirnov. There was proposed a possibility for using data on relative abundance of fish juveniles for assessment of population number of major species of commercial fish fauna in the Kremenchuk reservoir.
