Essay

With the aid of mathematic modeling based on the virtual population analysis (VPA), there have been assessed the number and state of major commercial fish species of the Dnieper River reservoirs by the example of bream, roach, and silver bream of the Kremenchuk and Kaniv reservoirs. Results of the modeling showed that the major factor, which determined the dynamics of populations of examined fish species, was the fishing load.
