The dissertation presents the analysis of all basic directions of activity in sphere of preservation of cultural heritage of Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the basis of archival sources, publications in mass media, and also studying historiogra-phy of a problem. Aim of the research is the scientific reconstruction of development of the investigation of monuments in Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
