Melnik Z. The reception of law as a mean of the improvement of the legal system (theoretical-legal aspect).

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretic legal research of the law reception as a legal category and a legal phenomenon. In the process of the research the author clears out such items as a notion of the law reception, its nature and main features, its types, functions and structure. The latter dives an afford to distinguish the law reception among the contiguous legal categories, to specify its place and value in forming and development of the legal systems either in the past or in the present. The author investigates the law reception role in the historical genesis of the law system of Ukraine as well as she develops the theoretic conception of using the law reception as a mean of the law system improvement.
