The object – patients with acute surgical diseases of small and large bowel, who underwent surgery; the aim – improvement of results of surgical treatment of patients with acute surgical diseases of small and large bowel by intraoperative enteric lavage; the methods – clinical exam, biochemical, immunological, immunoenzymatical, instrumental, bacteriological, pathomorphological, statistical; the new approach – substantiation of influence of enteric lavage on parameters of endogenous intoxication; the results – introduction of antegrade intraoperative enteric lavage into the practice of surgical departments of hospitals; the field - surgery.
