valency of verb-derived nouns and verb-derived adjectives in the contemporary Ukrainian language. It is also defined the correlation of semantic and grammatical components in valent potential of the part of speech. Based on the idea of substantiality, key variants of objective syntaxemas were defined: semantic, combinatory, morphological and positional. Each of them identifies the specificity of the structures, semantics, methods of realization, presentation and positional usage in the system of semantic-syntactical units of the Ukrainian language.
