Kovalenko G. Management of the system of economic evaluation of ecological risk in metallurgical industry

The object of investigation is the process of management of the ecological risk on the metallurgical industry enterprises. The purpose of the thesis is ground and development of theoretical positions, methodical approaches and practical recommendations about improvement of the system of economic evaluation of ecological risk in metallurgical industry. The methods of investigation are structurally-logic analysis, methods of direct and reverse analysis, method of design, statistical method. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is сonsists in the ground and development of scientific- methodical approach on the improvement of the system of economic evaluation of ecological risk in metallurgical industry. The scientific- methodical approach of the economic evaluation of ecological risk of metallurgical industry enterprises, based on quantitative calculations to developed directions taking into account the most essential compensative expense items and allowing to define most complete sum and nature of losses to the environment and man have been suggested for the first time. The following issues have been improved: the procedure of organization of ecological audit on the enterprises of metallurgical industry due to his distributing to directions, that will give possibility to provide high-quality collection of information for the economic evaluation of ecological risk, effectiveness of ecological policy of enterprises of metallurgical industry. The following principles and approaches have been further development: concept "ecological risk" for production enterprises, which is examined as possibility of causing of loss to the natural environment and man as a result of the anthropogenic loading, the economic and social consequences of which can show up not only in the real but also in remote time; approaches to the location ecological risk in the questions of ecological safety of metallurgical production; theoretical positions in relation to development of scale of ecological risk of contamination of atmospheric air, that allows to give more grounded economic evaluation of ecological risk of metallurgical production; constituents of the economic control system by the ecological risk on the enterprises of metallurgical industry on the basis of determination and account of properties and principles of functioning of the noted system and use of such instruments of influence, as economic evaluation, systematic ecological audit, ecological insurance, monitoring of nature protection activity; measures of the administrative and financial -economic providing of the control system by the ecological risk in metallurgical industry.
