Kuzma O. The existential model of the world in Lesya Ukrayinka dramaturgy.

The thesis is dedicated to the analysis of Lesya Ukrayinka dramaturgy through the alembic of the conceptual ideas of existentialism philosophy. The systematic research of the philosophic discourse of the author's dramas is conducted in the Ukrainian literary studies for the first time. The central notions of the research are the notion of freedom and choice, the authenticity of existence, the notion of an edging situation, loneliness, suicide, absurdity, revolt, love, transcendence, suffering and death. The peculiar properties of the author's philosophy are researched in the context of the existential orientations of the Ukrainian literature at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The existential model of the world in Lesya Ukrayinka dramaturgy is researched as a system of the modes of being which includes the basic model of the national existence as well as the model of the human being.
