The thesis deals with the problems of substantiating the rational parameters of tim-bering the face heading in zones affected by cleaning extraction chambers on great depths under geotechnical conditions of Youzhno-Beloziersky deposit. As a result of theoretical, laboratory and industrial studies the investigations technological solutions for bolting the face heading as aside trailing and lying sides of extraction chambers are offered. The methods to calculate parameters of conducting coal-face works in secondary chambers, which take into account the influence of a working excavation of initial chambers, is of-fered. The proposed technological solutions to rationalize timbering of face heading are implemented in iron ore mining on the mine "Ekspluatacionay" CJC "ZOMI". The real economic benefit has made more than 193,46 thousand grn.
